You know that feeling of flying on a plane and the person behind you is kicking the back of your seat? Now imagine that person is also able to talk on their cellphone for the duration of the flight.
Despite the Global Business Travel Association urging to keep the ban on voice calls on planes, the FAA is considering allowing passengers to use their mobile phone for in-air communications.
Well, good news, you can have it both ways. Maybe the idea of being able to communicate for four hours of normally dead time sounds appealing, but you don’t want to be “that person” that annoys all of your fellow passengers. Typically, if someone calls you in-flight, the call will go straight to your voicemail. However, with Unified Communications, that voicemail will be converted to text and you will have the ability to instant message or text them back.
